Blair chooses to stay home…

Pittsburgh power forward DeJuan Blair, who had expressed interest in Indiana, announced Friday that he’ll stay home and play for the Panthers in the Big East, according to Scout.com national recruiting writer Dave Telep.

Blair, a 6-7 senior at Schenley High School, is rated the 44th best player in the nation by Scout.

Indiana’s quest to fill six scholarships has now stretched a week longer than the coaches expected it to. They’re still stuck at three verbal committments as the the heavy recruiting season dies down and Midnight Madness approaches.
