Sampson’s Assembly Hall introduction

Kelvin Sampson received a very long standing ovation from what looks like Indiana’s biggest Midnight Madness crowd since fall 2002, after IU’s surprise run the NCAA championship game.

Sampson told the crowd that his program will do at least three things: graduate players, follow the rules and have players who “work their butts off every single night” to win games.

He also commented on the loud reception he received.

“I can’t wait to see what you guys do when we win a championship,” he said.
