Crawford picks Indiana….

Jordan Crawford, a point guard out of Detroit who currently plays for Hargrave Military Academy in Virginia, signed a letter of intent to play for Indiana in 2007 according to Scout.com and Rivals.com.

According to Dave Telep, national recruiting director for Scout, Crawford made a decision late Wednesday, choosing Indiana over Xavier after seeing Indiana play in the NIT. He liked its style of play.

Crawford expects to play a combo guard role, much like current Hoosier and former Hargrave guard Armon Bassett has played so far this year.

We’ll have more on this later.

  1. Considering how well IU actually PLAYED in the NIT, does the fact that he based his decision on the Butler game scare anyone else?

  2. In reply to Dustin, no it does not scare me. Perhaps as a player, he is able to see some of the good that occured in the two games and isn’t getting out of wack because of one early season loss.
