Make your IU-Minnesota prediction, join us live Saturday

We’ll be giving our live updates and commentary from the Metrodome starting about an hour before kickoff. Please join us and share your thoughts. Will the Hoosiers finally go bowling?

I picked Michigan State to win last week, so everybody just follow my lead here. I’m infallible. I’ll take the hungry Hoosiers this week, even though they’re on the road, to win 31-27.

Here, too, are the latest injury updates I’ve heard. The only injury Indiana is reporting is safety Dan Kinsey, who has been ruled out of the game.

Minnesota has a couple of injuries. Tight end Matt Spaeth, who quarterback Bryan Cupito called Minnesota’s best player, is out with a shoulder injury.

Starting cornerback Trumaine Banks is out for the season with a broken arm. That has resulted in Minnesota moving safety Dominic Jones to corner and has made backup Duran Cooley a starter. Linebackers Mike Sherels and John Shevlin have seen limited time recently because of injuries, but are expected to play.
