It’s On.

So, let’s run it down quickly.

— Shooter Matt Roth, a senior to be from Illinois, has committed to Indiana. He becomes the third member of the Hoosiers’ 2008 class, joining wings Bud Mackey and Devin Ebanks.

— Pete DiPrimio of the Fort Wayne News-Sentinel is reporting that 6-11 junior center Ben Allen won’t return to Indiana and will instead play for Saint Mary’s College in California. The Gaels (cool name) already feature two Australian players, both of whom were Allen’s teammates on the national team for the University Games this summer.

I’m chasing both of these stories right now and also owe you guys more recap from football today. Doug and I have been bogged down in a ton of meetings recently, for which we apologize.

  1. Way to go Kelvin! Now go get Zeller and Pritchard. Roth and Pritchard sound very underrated. I saw Pritchard on ESPN U a couple of weeks back, and let me tell you that guy is a legit. Not very athletic, but is skilled, and one of the most intelligent players I have EVER seen.

  2. Bud Mackey will be a PG not a wing.

Next season SG’s with Roth now in the fold will be Ellis, Crawford and Roth.

  3. Does anyone have any information about the federal lawsuit filed by Seth Patinkin against the City of Bloomington? Mayor Mark Kruzan and City Attorneys Kevin Robling and Patricia Mulvihill are apparently “persons of interest” in a parallel federal grand jury investigation. Federal conspiracy charges are expected to be filed against Kruzan and Robling.
