Indiana 100, Longwood 49

Eric Gordon gets to the rim and hits a lay up and is fouled during Indiana’s 100-49 win against Longwood.

Eric Gordon leads Indiana with 21 points. He wasn’t really put in a position to score often after the ten-minute mark of the second half.

Clearly, Sampson wanted to see what other players could do. He hardly played D.J. White the second half. Instead, it was the Chicago duo of Jamarcus Ellis and DeAndre Thomas showing how effective they can be together.

Six players finished in double figures for Indiana, most-notably the guy who got booed last game, Lance Stemler. He had 12 points and hit 2-of-3 on 3-pointers.

Indiana will play the second game of this Chicago Invitational Challenge on Tuesday night against UNC-Wilmington.
