A host of Indiana prospects have been labeled as the top-75 players in the class of 2011 by Scout.com.
MARQUIS TEAGUE, INDIANPOLIS PIKE — No. 6 overall, No. 3 point guard
BRANDEN DAWSON, GARY WALLACE — No. 26 overall, No. 6 small forward
MARSHALL PLUMLEE, ARDEN CHRIST SCHOOL (ASHEVILLE, N.C.) — No. 35 overall, No. 8 power forward
CHASSON RANDLE, ROCK ISLAND (ILL.) — No. 49 overall, No. 13 shooting guard
AUSTIN ETHERINGTON, HAMILTON HEIGHTS — No. 57 overall, No. 12 small forward
CODY ZELLER, WASHINGTON — No. 59 overall, No. 14 power forward
MATT CARLINO, BLOOMINGTON SOUTH — No. 72 overall, No. 16 shooting guard
A little surprised to see Carlino that low, and very surprised to see Etherington that high.
Well, don’t look now…
Rivals just released their list. Carlino isn’t even in the top 100. Nor is Zeller and Etherington.
Let the freak out begin.
The rankings also mention IU in connection with Brad Beal, #9, and Sidiki Johnson, #55.
Anybody got any idea where IU stands with any of these players, other than Carlino obviously?
