Hollowell’s list continues to grow

Jeremy Hollowell does not need the recruiting services.

He just tweets the information himself.

He wrote the following yesterday:

Spartans,sooners,wildcats,and pitt…in the picture now

I am going to guess that would be Michigan State, Kentucky and Oklahoma.

In the last few days, Hollowell has also announced that he’s received offers from Ohio State, Tennessee, Xavier and Illinois. The schools join Indiana, Iowa and Cincinnati on the list of schools after the 6-foot-7 forward from Lawrence Central in the class of 2012.

Hollowell once tweeted that if Ohio State had offered during his unofficial visit, he would have been close to committing. He also announced he was going to play this week in Las Vegas, with the 17u Eric Gordon All-Stars. A few days later, he took it back and said he would go to Kansas City with his “regular” AAU team, the 15u Spiece Indy Stars.

Check out the Twitter feed. Hollowell is definitely one of the more interesting recruits out there.

  1. Are we to assume that he pays for his travel expenses by mowing lawns in the his neighborhood?

  2. Summer league teams have sponsors and parents who pay for their kid’s expenses. No scandal here.

  3. GFDave, Do you really think all these kids can afford all this travel [parents] and if they have sponsors then doesn’t that get in to play for pay, especially when its law firms trying to win favor. OR Player agent firms, as has been the case at USC, UConn, Memphis, etc [so far]
