Indiana guard Devan Dumes takes an outside shot against USC-Upstate. The Hoosiers, without Matt Roth, are making their 3-pointers — they’re just not taking very many. Chris Howell | Herald-Times

TAKE A LOOK
While IU will not play any games anywhere near Iraq this season, this felt appropriate after reading Dustin’s story — Outkast’s “Bombs Over Baghdad.”
Heavens delight..a basketball picture. Purple rain!! It’s about Time! Does anyone think Dumes with mustache would look a little like a young Morris Day?
Did you see how the elbows swing so freely?
what do you mean they’re not taking very many? I’m not looking at a stat sheet right now. But they shot a ridiculous number of 3’s last game, many of which were horrible decisions.
The story on Evan Turner from OSU is a sad one. Yeah, he was hot-doggin’ it a little bit, but the running dunk has become such a routine play in all levels of basketball that we don’t expect it to go so horribly wrong. Hope Turner ends up okay and we can face OSU at their best.
JeremyK,
Be sure to read the story. It includes the fact that they put up a lot of three-pointers last game, but overall, Indiana is last in the Big Ten in three-point attempts.
EJ sure had great range.
