THREE-POINT SHOT

1. INDIANA BASKETBALL

In the usual Q&A, I wonder if Victor Oladipo has hit the freshman wall, why Will Sheehey seemingly has not and who the extra guy on the bench was.

Here is the weekly recruit watch from Inside the Hall. Indiana has yet to find the winning formula, the Indiana Daily Student’s Nathan Hart wrote.

2. BIG TEN BASKETBALL

E’Twaun Moore scored a career-high 38 points as No. 11 Purdue upset No. 2 Ohio State at Mackey Arena, the Lafayette Journal & Courier’s Jeff Washburn wrote. Ohio State was not nearly tough enough to meet the challenge, the Columbus Dispatch’s Bob Baptist wrote.

Keaton Nankivil and Jon Leuer each scored 22 points as Wisconsin beat Penn State at home, Madison.com’s Rob Schultz wrote.

Here are the updated Big Ten standings.

  1. Ok, Purdue in the Hall on Wed. Would be difficult to beat them this year, but for goodness sake let’s not get blown out. Don’t be suprised to see a strange starting line up, why not? Victor this would be a great opportunity to prove that the freshman wall has parted. Rivers needs to have a big D game and TP needs to try to keep up with JJ. Understand that no moral victories allowed but to keep in under a 10 point margin would be a good thing. Hoping are verbals are’nt having second thoughts!

  2. Where hath the great Casey gone, when we need a voice of reason more than ever? I thought he was more than a football fan, but maybe not.

  3. GO IU, i don’t like losing either/allot of big teams are losing tho! I’m tired of people slamming IU and the Coach for the problems we’re having. We have to give Coach Crean another year or so/hopefully all the players will be at IU. Most of these stupid people that slam IU don’t know whats going on anyway/keep your comments to yourself. All you do is hurt IU and there recruiting good players. Coach Crean came there with no players, and is starting to get them, and injuries have hurt them too. Allot of teams are losing now a days, so leave IU alone……ok!
