IU football spring game info (pancakes are involved)

Yes, pancakes. And we’re not just talking about a particular sort of successful block. The IU athletic department has released some schdedule details concerning the first spring game of the Kevin Wilson coaching era, and it features a tried-and-true element of past IU springs: a Pigskin and Pancakes component culminating an hour before the 11 a.m. kickoff April 16.

Here is the schedule of events, per the IU athletics web site:

Gates will open at 8:30 a.m. with kickoff at 11 a.m. ET.
Pigskin and Pancakes: 8:30-10 a.m. FREE event

•Located in Knothole Park
•Come and meet, Fred Glass, Indiana Athletics student-athletes and coaches.
Fan festival will be on the West Concourse:

•Kid Zone will be set up with face painters, giveaway and inflatable’s
•Season Ticket holder tent with a special giveaway
•Varsity Club tent where fans can get a picture with the bucket
Get a chance to win great prizes throughout the game and meet Coach Wilson, his staff and the 2011 Indiana Hoosiers for pictures and autographs after the game.
