Yogi Ferrell, Hanner Perea in Top 20 of latest Rivals rankings

Rivals.com released its latest Top 150 for the Class of 2012 earlier today. Just in case you haven’t seen it yet, it’s here.

Points of interest, Yogi Ferrell is now rated No. 17 in the nation followed by Hanner Perea at No. 18. Jeremy Hollowell is at No. 49. Ron Patterson is still on the list at 132. Peter Jurkin sat out the spring and summer, so unsurprisingly, he’s nowhere to be found.

Indiana’s only remaining unsigned target in the class (that we know of) is Gary Harris, who check in at No. 26.

Other players of state interest. Mitch McGary is No. 4. D’Vauntes Smith-Rivera at No. 23. Glenn Robinson III is No. 35 (he pretty much skyrocketed). Ronnie Johnson is No. 92. A.J. Hammons is No. 124, Kellen Dunham is No. 142.

  1. Harris,Hollowell, should be higher—Patterson,Dunham should be 50 spots higher– in the 70’s. Time will tell.Smith-Rivera too high.

  2. Certainly interesting to see Perea so high after getting used to seeing him in the 30s – 50s. I think his stock may climb this year, but I think 18 is too high. I think at the end of the year he could top out in the 15 – 20 range, but what I’ve seen from him, he’s a bit raw to be so high. Just my thoughts.
