  1. That shot by GTown bouncing of the crossbar in the final few minutes means that #8 for IU was meant to be! Congrats to the entire IU Soccer team…

  2. After the last three minutes of play, my nerves are shot! Wow, I thought GTown was going to tie it up and when the ball hit the crossbar, my heart started beating again. Wow!

The Hoosiers are national champions once again.

  3. Great win! An Indiana soccer brand, wins with lots of heart.

Thought it was funny when the announcers began to review some of the great names in Hoosier soccer history and left out the greatest, Angelo DiBernardo and Armando Betancourt. Nevertheless, what a history and how appropriate that Todd Yeagley continues his father’s (and mother’s- Marilyn- legacy). Champions all!

  4. That’s exactly how goals come. Create the situation and the goal comes by itself. This goal was the tail end of a series of ‘dangerous moments’ by IU in front of the Georgetown goals.

The Georgetown gk was as good as I have seen in a long time in collegiate soccer. Very intelligent. And Luis was really up to the challenge with some outstanding saves in the most difficult of places to save them, down on the ground and a great 1 v 1.

Good win by a very determined Hoosier eleven. There is a reason why IU is the best developed, and most dominant national program.

  5. This should cease any Q’s doubting the IU athletic department is in capable hands. AD Glass has championed strong support for each program, made exceptional hires along with advancing facilities upgrades and managing of budget $. He displays proactive vs reactive management style.

  6. Thanks for the great picture Laffy. Great comment HC, you are tremendously on target Leadership is everything and the people we have in place; Fred Glass, CKW, TC, TY, … and all the others all point at a great, great Hoosier decade.
