  1. Wow, T.J. Simors is really not a fan of Steve Alford. That was brutal commentary, but not far off the typical views of many of the LA sports writers. The reception has been “cool” to say the least. UCLA’s hire of Alford has not been received with much enthusiasm, and his Indiana roots are not being well received out in LALA land.

As I said two days ago, I fear Alford has made a terrible mistake and that his time at UCLA will be short. He’s swimming in shark infested waters now.

  2. Dustin – will you guys be able to reallocate the travel budget money you had set aside for Atlanta to Omaha for the college world series?

  3. Nice find iuhoosier. Good read. Going for the first IU B1G title in 64 yrs. Wow. Hope no one shows up in Omaha with a zone defense.

LA BB. Recruitment will be interesting. Will the kids want to play Steve Alford sytle at UCLA or Andy Enfield at USC?

  4. I just want to make sure it’s on your radar since iuhoosier92 pointed out that you’ve been ignoring the baseball team.
