Cody Zeller and Victor Oladipo both registered impressive marks at the second day of the NBA Combine. Both skipped the basketball skill workouts on Thursday on advice of their agents, but both participated in the speed, agility and leaping drills on Friday.
Oladipo posted the highest max vertical (leap from a running start) of any player in the combine at 42 inches and also registered a standing vertical leap of 33 inches. Zeller actually outleaped Oladipo from a standing start with a 35.5 inch straight vertical and posted a 37.5 inch maximum vertical. Both also performed extremely well in sprints and lane agility drills. Zeller posted the best modified lane agility drill time at 2.79 seconds. Oladipo’s 10.69 second time in the agility drill was one of the best among shooting guards. He ran 3.25 seconds in the 3/4 court sprint and 3.25 seconds in the modified lane agility drill.
