Q&A from Poland: Jordan Hulls

How’s it going everyone?  All is going alright out here over the waters.  We lost our game last night but we played hard and had our chances, we just missed too many easy shots and free throws throughout the game and that hurt us.  We have one more game on the road this Sunday before we start the playoffs next week, so we are looking to get a win to build some momentum.

For today’s blog I’ll be answering some more questions from Andy Graham.  Please feel free to leave some of your own questions!

“Are people in Poland at all nervous about the going-ons in neighboring Ukraine?”

This is a very serious problem that’s pretty close to us, however I haven’t heard any of my teammates talk about it and express their concern to me about it.  Now, they could be more concerned than I know, but as far as talking to me about it, it just doesn’t come up often other than the fact that the situation is unfortunate.  Many players that my other teammates have played with in the past did evacuate from their teams there in Ukraine.  I’m just thankful that it hasn’t been an issue with us in any way.

“What, if anything, have Victor and Cody told you about life in the NBA?”

I’m glad that I have been able to keep in touch with Victor and Cody this past year because it was an exciting year for both of them.  First of all, to be able to reach your dreams and finally play in the NBA was a great thing to happen to these two guys, they deserved it and I was so happy for them.  After talking with them and asking about what it’s like and how they’re liking it, they both are loving it.  Of course it’s something new and took some time to get used to but it’s what they’ve worked towards their whole lives and they’re trying to make the most of it.  All the traveling and games was an adjustment for sure, but again they knew it was part of it and adapted.  I’m sure it was a little different to be on the court with LeBron, Kobe, and Durant at first because those are greats we’ve watched for so long but to be the best you have to play the best.

Victor had a great rookie season and he’s getting better and better, which is no surprise.  I’m excited to see him grow into his role as PG or if they put him at SG, either way he will continue to improve.

Cody had a good year as well and is still going!  What a cool experience for him in his rookie season to be in the playoffs.  He does whatever the team needs him to do and he’s going to have a long successful career.  His ceiling is so high that he will continue to improve and show off his whole game each year.

I’ll be back next week with more Q&A for y’all, but that’s it for this week!  Have a great week and until next time, Stay Classy BTown!

Tell the truth…Was this Poland thing part of your Leonard Nimoy assignment? Jordan Hulls goes “In Search of” the John Laskowski Super-Sublet condo?
