Former IU offensive tackle Andrew McDonald recovering from surgery to remove tumor

According to this story from Panthers.com, former Indiana offensive tackle Andrew McDonald, who now plays for the Carolina Panthers, told reporters that he was diagnosed with testicular cancer following a physical on May 19. He had surgery to remove it, it apparently has not spread and he told reporters he feels much better. However, he will not be able to participate in football activities again until training camp.
