Jim Callis, senior reporter at MLB.com and the guy who gets all the signing bonus news first, reports that former Indiana first baseman and second-round pick Sam Travis has signed with the Boston Red Sox for $846,800, which is exactly slot money for the No. 67 pick in the draft.
Callis previously reported that IU third baseman Dustin DeMuth signed for $50,000, less than one-sixth of slot money for the pick at $336,400.
