IU runs away with 96-69 win over McGill

MONTREAL — Indiana used a major run early in the first quarter and finished with five scorers in double figures in a 96-69 runaway victory over McGill on Tuesday.

James Blackmon Jr. scored a co-game-high 21 points and Troy Williams added 18 for the Hoosiers, who are now 3-1 on their Canadian trip. IU’s final game of the tour is Wednesday afternoon at 1 against University of Quebec-Montreal.

Indiana shot 48 percent from the field and 39 percent from 3-point range. Nick Zeisloft had another big night from beyond the arc, going 3-of-5 from long range and finishing with 15 points.
