Kevin Wilson awards scholarships to Graham, Cooper; renews four others

Indiana announced Friday that Kevin Wilson has awarded scholarships to six players ahead of next weekend’s season opener.

Walk-on wide receiver Damon Graham and tight end Michael Cooper have each earned scholarships, while former walk-ons Collin Rahrig, Isaiah Roundtree, Erich Toth and Anthony Corsaro have had theirs renewed.

“As we continue to improve our program with strong recruiting classes, it is also important to continue to develop our walk-on program,” Wilson said in a statement. “These young men will be starters or vital contributors this season. They have worked hard to earn their scholarships and we appreciate their efforts.”

Graham played in five games last season and returned three kickoffs for 72 yards. Cooper sat out last year after transferring from Arizona. He played in 24 games in his two seasons with the Wildcats.

Wilson is a former walk-on lineman at North Carolina. He awards scholarships on a yearly basis and has now handed out 23 in four seasons.
