  1. I have watched a ton of video lately on Shake Milton. If we can land this kid I will feel great about the 15 class. He is very underrated and has a complete game, plays very mature and under control. The acrobatics under the basket are some of the most under control and best I have ever seen, he can shoot, handle, go right or left, play D…just impressive at 6 foot 5 inches tall. We still need a solid big man but maybe a kid grows or April improves and Perea is just a junior (If I remember right). I don’t worry as much about size though as some. The roster has so many 6 foot 7-8 kids and people forget in 2002 it was Odle and Jeffries at the bigs and shooting carried us far. I have questions about Crean like most, questions now that I didn’t have years ago but I am excited for this year and next. The shooting will be spectacular and I think we do well, much better than the media thinks anyway!

  2. J Pat, Good flashback. Your memory serves you well. I am with you. Shooting from everywhere on the court will make this ream damn competitive. Sophomores like we have will play much better than when they were Frosh.

  3. You absolutely can’t mention 2002 without the name….?

A.J. MOYE! Never been a greater will…His heart, and the entire heart of that team, on full display in the upset against Duke still brings the goosebumps. Do yourself a favor and go to the end of the clip…Listen to Don Fisher calling the game in the final minutes.

Other inside help: Jeff Newton…and George Leach.

  4. This would give two 4 star recruits for 2015. An 80 and 84. That is fine. However, 2015 class needs a 5 star and 89 4 star or higher recruit to rise above average in big ten plus some competent coaching or IU will play from bottom up instead of top down = struggles to play 500 bb in big ten give or take a couple games. Currently, no elite program at IU….Just very average.
