Wednesday was James Blackmon Jr. Night at the Bill Green Athletic Arena, where Marion High School’s boys’ basketball program presented the former Giants guard with a night in his honor.
According to tweets from Matt Wilson, sports editor of the Marion Chronicle-Tribune, Blackmon was joined by IU coach Tom Crean and the rest of his Hoosier teammates.
To cap the special night, Blackmon’s younger brother, Vijay, scored 32 points to lead Marion to a 73-35 win over Elwood. Vijay holds an IU offer.
