Mosquera-Perea reportedly a “full-go” #iubb

OMAHA, Neb. — Indiana could be at full strength when it opens the NCAA Tournament Friday afternoon against Wichita State.

According to WGCL’s Joe Smith, who doubles as an IU radio gameday host, Hanner Mosquera-Perea was at full strength at Wednesday’s practice in Omaha. Mosquera-Perea missed Indiana’s Big Ten Tournament finale after aggravating his right knee in the second half against Northwestern last Thursday.

“The knee strength looked pretty doggone good,” Smith said on-air this morning. “He was at full-go yesterday. Things are a check-plus in our column in that regard.”

We should know more this afternoon when Indiana holds an open practice here at the CenturyLink Center. More to come.
