A few quick notes before kickoff #iufb

Chase Dutra will miss his second consecutive game tonight against Florida International.

Dutra did not dress for pregame warmups and could be seen walking on the field with his left knee wrapped. IU coach Kevin Wilson has not disclosed the nature of Dutra’s injury, only going so far as to say it will not require surgery.

Though Dutra, IU’s top free safety, is out, Indiana does appear to have some good news in its secondary. Cornerback Rashard Fant, who took a knee to the head late in last week’s opener against Southern Illinois, is dressed and participating in warmups. Tight end Jordan Fuchs (undisclosed injury) is also dressed and partcipating in warmups.

Indiana is wearing its white helmet tonight.

UPDATE: Freshman Devonte Williams made his first career start in place of Fant.
