6:36 (4Q) : Tyra Buss taking the ball right up the court, deposits the layup and draws another foul. She is up to 25 points. Before that, Alexis Gassion had a nice pull-up jumper along the baseline. She has 10 points, 11 rebounds and two steals on the day.

1:22 (3Q): Karlee McBride is showing off her passing skills in this quarter, with an alley oop to Alexis Gassion and then a behind the back pass to Amanda Cahill in transition. But not a high-scoring quarter for the Hoosiers, who lead 67-29.

Freshman forward Kym Royster played eight minutes, not taking a single shot but coming down with a rebound. Danielle Williams, another freshman post, played less than a minute but came down with two offensive boards. Tyshee Towner, the junior college transfer from Wabash Valley, had five points on 2-of-5 shooting, two blocks, a steal and three turnovers.

1:46: Hoosiers go on another run, 18-0, since our last update. Tyra Buss now up to 18 points in the game. Karlee McBride also continues to stroke it. She is 3-of-5 from beyond the arc. She has 14 points. Also, Amanda Cahill is close to a double-double already, with seven points and nine rebounds.

7:07: Back to back 3s by Tyshee Towner and then Karlee McBride make it 32-16, IU. That boosts IU’s success rate from beyond the arc to 4-of-9. Slippery Rock is 4-of-8 from 3, but 6-of-20 (30 percent) from the field.
