ABC to televise Indiana’s homecoming game vs. Nebraska

Indiana will be back on national television this weekend.

Saturday’s homecoming game against Nebraska will be televised on ABC at 3:30 p.m. It’s the latest national network game for IU’s program, which was featured in ABC’s mid-afternoon slot four times in 2015. Last year’s near-upset of Ohio State was the 10th-most watched college football game of the season overall.

Indiana and Nebraska have not played each other in football since 1978. The Hoosiers lead the all-time series 9-7-3.

  1. Hard to believe IU leads series…who would have thought that? OSU was not a measuring stick for IU FB because even if IU played better on offense or got closer in the score OSU has the ability to just turn up the heat against a team like IU and secure a win. However, Nebraska is a different story and I think this game and other big ten games except Michigan will serve as as a measuring stick for this year’s team. I see anywhere from 2 to 6 more wins this season.
