Indiana will open the season next week ranked No. 11 in the Associated Press top 25, which was released Monday afternoon.
The Hoosiers are one of five Big Ten teams to crack the list, including No. 9 Wisconsin, No. 12 Michigan State, No. 15 Purdue and No. 25 Maryland.
Duke is ranked No. 1, Kentucky is No. 2 and Kansas, IU’s opponent in the Nov. 11 season opener in Hawaii, opens the year at No. 3.
