On the heels of Saturday’s loss to Butler, the Indiana men’s basketball team slipped to No. 16 in the Associated Press Top 25 poll on Monday.
It is the lowest ranking of the season for the Hoosiers, who were No. 9 last week and climbed to as high as No. 3 on Nov. 21. An overtime loss at Fort Wayne followed, and a home win against North Carolina pushed IU back to ninth prior to Saturday.
Butler, meanwhile, climbed from No. 18 to No. 13. The Bulldogs are followed by No. 14 Wisconsin, now the highest-ranked Big Ten team in the poll. Purdue is No. 15, followed by Indiana.
