  1. She’s the ex of a hell of a cowboy both on the ranch and now retired rodeo champion Ty Murray. I forget how many All Around Cowboy Championships he won.

  2. I do think it’s time to face the music for those of us who have been rooting for Victor Oladipo. He was one of the primary reasons they lost last night. 4 – 17 shooting? Oh brother. He was horrendous last night and pretty much throughout the series versus the Rockets.

Before Harvard goes full Swami mode, Vic hasn’t been as bad as he claims. He has been a serviceable NBA player and he’ll find PT on a lot of rosters. But Vic has a narrow game because, despite his athleticism, he’s a god-awful shooter. He’s always been around 35% from 3-pt, and shot 30% more times from there this year. The kind of guard a slashing, driving, all around menace like Westbrook needs is a guy who can hit the open 3 after defenses collapse on him. Vic just isn’t that kind of player and it has been a glaring problem.

Despite his lock-down performance in college, he’s also been at best an above average NBA defender, and his defensive stats decreased across the board this year.

Like I said, decent NBA player, but has underperformed to the expectations of a #2 draft pick. Too bad, I like Vic a lot as a person. Thought his work ethic would improve his game in those areas. It has been 4 years. Vic just isn’t going to be a good shooter. But even more surprised at his defensive regression.

  3. I’ll be praying for Mitchell Paige to get drafted this week. But even if he’s not drafted, I’ll bet he makes it as a free agent. There are a few really successful slot-receivers that are about his size, and in the right system, he can be just as productive as any of those guys.

All the best Mitch, and thanks for your many great contribution to IU Football. You’re an inspiration.
