Kickoff time set for IU-FIU game

Another kickoff time has been added to Indiana’s 2017 football schedule.

IU will host Florida International at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 16, the Big Ten announced on Tuesday. The game will be televised by Big Ten Network.

The Hoosiers are are 2-0 against FIU, including a 34-13 win in last season’s opener in Miami, and a 36-22 victory at Memorial Stadium in 2015.

The FIU game is the sixth contest to have a kickoff time assigned. The other five kickoff times and television assignments, where available, are listed below:

Thursday, Aug. 31: Ohio State at Indiana, 8 p.m., ESPN
Saturday, Sept. 9: Indiana at Virginia, 3:30 p.m., ACC Network Extra
Saturday, Sept. 16: Florida International at Indiana, 3:30 p.m., BTN
Saturday, Oct. 14: Michigan at Indiana, Noon, TV TBA
Saturday, Oct. 21: Indiana at Michigan State, 3:30 or 4 p.m., TV TBA
Saturday, Oct. 28: Indiana at Maryland, 3:30 or 4 p.m., TV TBA
