Five days after claiming their best win of the season, the Hoosiers have an opportunity to build momentum on Thursday night at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall.
A matchup with No. 20 Iowa could go a long way toward getting Indiana back on track after Saturday’s win over No. 6 Michigan State.
After snapping a seven-game losing skid, Indiana is looking to put together a streak of a different kind.
“It’s good to see the guys smile,” IU coach Archie Miller said. “It was tough to go through a stretch like that in our league. … We had great leadership, great togetherness and we had guys playing the right way. We’re in a 10-game conference schedule. We’re in the back half of the league and we were able to get our first one. This is No. 2.”
Iowa started the season 16-3, matching its best start in the Fran McCaffery era. The Hawkeyes are coming off their most complete victory of the season, a 74-59 win over Michigan.

I think this game kind of sums up the season. Just kind of sad. No intelligence on this team. I hope coach cleans house a bit after this season and please get a couple kids that can shoot the ball.
Remember when Assembly Hall used to be an advantage. I miss those days.
Somebody please take Green’s uniform away and send him back to NY street ball. He is not worthy to wear Candy Stripes.
