Indiana to host Wichita State in NIT quarterfinals

Indiana now knows its next NIT opponent.

The No. 1 seed Hoosiers will host No. 6 seed Wichita State in Tuesday’s NIT quarterfinals at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall. The game will tip off at 7 p.m. and air on ESPN.

Wichita State won 63-55 at No. 2 seed Clemson on Sunday afternoon. The Shockers head to Bloomington having won 13 of their past 16 games.

Tuesday will be the first meeting between the programs since 2015 NCAA Tournament, where Wichita State defeated IU, 81-76, in the first round. The all-time series is tied at 1-1.
