IU signee Geronimo a Gatorade Player of the Year

Indiana signee Jordan Geronimo has been named the Gatorade Player of the Year for the state of New Hampshire.

Geronimo, a 6-foot-6 wing for St. Paul’s School, averaged 18 points, 9 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals, and 2 blocks per game as a senior. He is considered the No. 96 recruit in the nation by 247Sports, grading out as a four star.

Geronimo is one of three current members of IU’s 2020 recruiting class, along with in-state guards Trey Galloway and Anthony Leal. There is also a possibility a third in-state guard, Evansville Reitz junior Khristian Lander, reclassifies for 2020.

Along with his accomplishments on the floor, Geronimo has a 3.98 GPA in the classroom, according to the release. Below is a highlight from Geronimo’s senior season at St. Paul’s:

    3.98 is impressive and I think JG will prove to be a steal recruiting wise. I also I think this recruiting class with or without KL will prove to be far better than many believe. Won’t know for a couple years for sure, but I suspect we will all be quite pleased as they develop and mature.
