Jackson-Davis earns multiple All-America nods

Indiana’s Trayce Jackson-Davis has been named to multiple All-America teams.

The 6-foot-9 sophomore from Greenwood received honorable mention to the Associated Press’ All-America team on Monday. On Tuesday, Jackson-Davis made the third-team of the U.S. Basketball Writers Association’s All-America squad.

The Sporting News also named Jackson-Davis as a third-team All-American.

Jackson-Davis led the Hoosiers with 19.1 points, 9 rebounds, and 1.4 blocks per contest. He also made a team-best 51.1% of his shots from the field.

A week ago, Jackson-Davis was named first-team All-Big Ten. Two Big Ten players, Iowa’s Luka Garza and Illinois’ Ayo Dosunmu, were named first-team All-Americans by the AP. Michigan’s Hunter Dickinson and Illinois’ Kofi Cockburn were second-team selections.

No Big Ten players made the third team but five received honorable-mention status, including Ohio State’s EJ Liddell, Michigan’s Franz Wagner and Isaiah Livers, and Purdue’s Trevion Williams.

IU is awaiting word from Jackson-Davis as to whether he intends to return for his junior season. He could test the NBA waters this offseason.
