Because of the floor conditions at Kansas City yesterday, Coach Branch McCracken’s Indiana five was forced to alter its practice plans somewhat as the team prepared for the final game of the N. C. A. A. basketball meet tonight at Kansas City.Only half an hour after the hurryin’ Hoosiers left Bloomington Thursday afternoon, a telegram arrived for McCracken, stating that the hardwood at Municipal Auditorium, where the championship game will be played, would not be ready until this morning. Since a practice session had been planned on the court for Friday afternoon, the Hoosiers were forced to make a quick shift of plans and take a light drill on the Rockhurst College floor in Kansas City.
