We’ll be posting live Saturday night from the press box in Muncie, assuming the wireless Internet there is working. We’ll start a couple of hours before the 6:30 game with updates and comments, and respond to your thoughts and questions. Chris will provide periodic updates and statistical highlights throughout the game.
Please also post your prediction of which team will win and by how many points. I have an Indiana basketball as a prize for the best prediction.
Staff Predictions
Chris: Let’s go with Indiana 35, Ball State 31.
Trailing late in the game, Blake Powers finds James Hardy on a deep post, and Hardy takes it 20 yards after the catch for a score. Indiana assistant coach Billy Lynch becomes so fired up by the catch that he simply points at his brother Joey Lynch, the Ball State quarterback, and winks. Then he turns and sprints back to Bloomington, arriving in a mere 34 minutes, 10 of which are spent devouring that 72 ounce steak they sell at Colorado Steakhouse.
I’m still looking for last week’s winner, Bob Stockwell, to send me an e-mail at dwilson@heraldt.com, so I can make arrangements to mail his prize to him.
