Practice open this week

Indiana’s football practices are open to the media this week, after being closed last week. We’ll bring you reports after practice Tuesday and Wednesday evening, as well as coach Terry Hoeppner’s weekly press conference Tuesday afternoon

The 2-0 Hoosiers will prepare this week for a 4 p.m. home game Saturday against I-AA Southern Illinois, which is 1-0. The Salukis haven’t played since winning their season-opener, 49-0, over Lock Haven on Aug. 31.

  1. I sure hope that coach will do what’s best at QB and start Lewis. You know it’s what most fans want. And don’t the fans help win games?

Don’t get me wrong, Powers was pretty good the first 5 games last year. But, my feeling is that talent Lewis’ will be better against the BigTen. Why not get him in the swing now and get ready for conference play.

  2. Starting Kullen Lewis is a no brainer. I U football needs excitment and wins. I listened to the game on the radio and have never been so distraught listening to the first half. Second half complete elation. I have followed the Hoosiers for 35 years and attend most home games. Prayers for Coach Hep and the young Hoosiers….
