Hoosier women get Andujar from Sunshine State

Danilsa Andujar, a 6-2 senior forward from Dillard High School in Fort Lauderdale, has given a commitment to begin play in 2008-09. Last season, she averaged 6.1 points and 5.5 rebounds per game.

Perhaps not knockout numbers, but Dillard coach Marcia Pinder acclaimed her pupil’s moves and shooting skills from inside the paint.

The coach also said that Hoosier tradition and school spirit factored into Andujar’s choice, and after visiting Bloomington was wowed by Felisha Legette-Jack’s staff and their passionate personalities.

As far as I know, Andujar and Lindsay Enterline, 5-11 senior guard at Heritage and younger sister of former Hoosier Leah, are the only two committed to Indiana in the 2008 class.

  1. Chris and/or Doug, I have a favor to ask of you. Will you be blogging from Hoosier Hysteria? If so, think you could make a post once the volleyball game has officially ended? That way I can know when to leave and head over to the Hall. Thanks!!!

  2. Ryan just a heads up IU women have 3 verbal commits for 2008-2009. They also picked up a commit from Sasha Chaplin a 6ft 3 forward from Florida
