Indiana basketball to open practice to the public Friday

Like last year, Kelvin Sampson will hold a practice that’s open to the public this Friday at 4. The difference this year is that anybody, not just students can attend. Here’s today’s release from IU:

Indiana Men’s Basketball Coach Kelvin Sampson is opening the Hoosiers Oct. 26 practice to IU students and the general public. Friday’s practice begins at 4 p.m. at Branch McCracken Court in Assembly Hall. Fans should enter the arena through the south loge doors or the north loge doors and sit in the west stands.

“This is something we enjoying doing every year,” said Sampson. “Our students, alumni and fans have a tremendous passion for the program and we’re excited to provide this opportunity for them to see one of our practices.”

  1. Steve O… The only “pumping” that has been going on with IU basketball lately has been the CPR performed on our beleaguered coach. Glad there is something else to talk about, hopefully before the idiot makes another mistake, rather than his disregard for the rules.
