Zeller to announce college decision Monday

Tyler Zeller will announce his college choice at 2 p.m. Monday at the Ponderosa restaurant in his hometown of Washington.

Zeller’s mom, Lorrie, said a couple of minutes ago that his final four schools are (in alphabetical order): Indiana, North Carolina, Notre Dame and Purdue. She said it’s been a good process in making a decision, but she’ll still be happy when it’s done Monday.

  1. I’m guessing North Carolina. I’ve kind of had a feeling all along, and added with all the craziness over the past weeks in Bloomington, I think he’s set on being a Tar Heel.

    Just a hunch.

  2. Unfortunately, I feel there is very liitle chance a Hoosier farm boy raised in a small town will commit to a program which has Indiana’s current problems. its unfortunate as Sampson has done many things right. My guess is Purdue.

  3. The only way things can get worse for IU is to lose this kid to Purdue, so that’s what I think will probably happen.

  4. At ponderosa…

    …publicity stunt.

…Is it going to be televised, ROFL?

…And why is he going to leave school early for this?
