IU 8,300, OSU 5,000

Here’s my weekly Friday update on ticket sales. Per the Indiana athletics media relations department, Indiana now has 8,300 tickets sold or reserved by students out of the 10,500 tickets the school purchased.

I also just got word from the Oklahoma State media relations staff that OSU has sold about 5,000 tickets.

I have no idea what that means as far as how many fans from each school will attend the game (fans can also buy tickets directly from the Insight Bowl itself), but it sounds like IU is doing well with its ticket sales.

  1. This is a great sign of the welcome the Hoosiers will have in Tempe. Myself and my family will be making this our vacation for the year. We are driving out to Arizona to cheer on the Crimson and Cream!

  2. I think that this is misleading. I ordered my tickets through IU and am NOT a student anymore. So, the 8,300 sold is correct, just not the “student” part.
