Arkansas’ top scorer hurt in practice

Sonny Weems — what a great name for a basketball player — injured his knee in practice today, but it appears as though he’ll be able to play Friday night against Indiana.

Weems, a 6-6 forward who 14.3 points and 4.6 rebounds per game for the Razorbacks, limped out of practice.

Later, Arkansas coach John Pelphrey said he thought Weems’ injury was not serious.

Here’s a report from the Web site Arkansas Sports 360.
