Lynch’s Press Conference

Lynch just finished his press conference and said a lot of the things you’d expect. He again called the 19-13 victory over Eastern Kentucky a “great win,” but lamented some problems with blocking and the running game. He said he thought the Hoosiers had too many turnovers and gave up too many big plays. Though there was apparently some concern that crowd noise was a problem for the offense and led to illegal procedure penalties, Lynch said he thought the sound was a good thing.

Lynch also said he expects cornerback Donnell Jones to be back for Saturday’s game against Western Michigan, and with Ray Fisher back from his one-half suspension, the Hoosiers will be at full strength in the secondary, which he admitted, needed to play better.

More on this later.
