No connection to IU sports here today. Just sadness, because I will not see Bruce Springsteen during this tour. This is my favorite Bruce song to watch live, “If I Should Fall Behind.”

  1. The little Sun Times article by Jim O’Donnell was a hoot. He contends at 4-3 the NU bowl hopes are fading (although their remaining schedule is much like ours) and their season is going down the drain. He suggests that Kafka, the 5th rated B10 passer with the second most yards, be benched. Finally, O’Donnell uses the word “surging” to describe IU. I guess a surge can be generated with one win, who knew?
