TAKE A LOOK

Pretty cool time-lapse video from the Cedar Rapids Press-Gazette of Saturday’s game with Iowa and Indiana. Alas, no further evidence that Terrence Turner’s foot was, indeed, in-bounds.

  1. There. Did you see it? I did. If you watch closely, you can see the black plastic pellets fly up from Turner’s foot. It is still a touchdown!

However, this explains everything! This must be the video the replay officials used on Saturday and the one the Big Ten office will use to review the call. What a farce!

  2. That picture captures one of my proudest moments in being a Hoosier alumnus. I sat through so many chilly nights as a student from 1992-1996 at Bill Armstrong stadium watching the Yeagley’s teams play very very well, and yet not win any championships.
But to win like that in his very last game, and his sixth championship! Noone else- not Bruce Arena, Bob Keough, Harry Guelker, nor Steve Negoesco, coached six national championships.
It was amazing. I couldn’t be happier Yeagley is finally taking his place in the Hall of Fame.
