Polk, Willis upgraded; Drane, Faulkner, Thomas out

Indiana apparently won’t have to go into Saturday’s game without it’s starting free safety. Senior Nick Polk missed last week with an ankle injury and was listed as questionable at the beginning of the week, but in Friday’s injury report, he was upgraded to probable.

Freshman Darius Willis was also upgraded to probable Friday after being listed as questionable with his season-long ankle injury early in the week. Running back Zach Davis-Walker, who has missed most of the season, was upgraded to probable with his foot injury, and Fred Jones, who has missed the entire season, is also probable with a foot injury.

Nothing has changed with cornerback Ray Fisher, though, as he is still out with a knee injury. Three more players — safety Jarrell Drane (thigh), defensive end Terrance Thomas (shoulder) and and offensive lineman Cody Faulkner (shoulder) — were downgraded from questionable earlier in the week to out. Defensive end Darius Johnson (shoulder), defensive back Chris Adkins (elbow) and defensive tackle Jarrod Smith (back) are still out. Safety Jerimy Finch (hamstring) is listed as questionable.
