Oladipo, Abraham will play in Derby Festival Classic

Indiana signee Victor Oladipo and prospect Moses Abraham will be among the participants in the Kentucky Derby Festival Classic on April 9 and 10 in Louisville.

This is the same all-star game (with a slam-dunk and 2-on-2 tournament the night before at Bellarmine) that Jordan Hulls, Maurice Creek and Christian Watford played in last season.

The game will be at Freedom Hall.

Also on the roster is old friend Ray McCallum, who is still making his college decision.

Hat tip to Alex Bozich over at Inside the Hall for the rosters.

  1. There was an article released today saying Mobley said he would probably commit to IU soon. (paraphrasing)
Let’s hope the coaching staff has diff thoughts.

  2. ITH has an article up about it. Weird, considering no one has heard or said anything about him for months. I still say MoAb or bust for this class… If not MoAb then save it for later.

  3. Yes, I feel the same way. As someone else said recently, IU is a five star school. To me, that speaks to us settling for nothing but four and five star prospects. I mean, if a three star is offered, and does not jump and take the offer, then I say he does not belong. Mobley has had a long while to decide – I think he is too late to the game.

  4. i hear alford is coming back to IU and work his way up to creans spot by taking mobleys scholarship. my source rhymes with 4tards.

  5. Yeah…because all the 4 and 5 star guys are falling overthemselves to see who can get an IU scholarship first.

  6. Hello, all,

I don’t think Indiana has been actively pursuing Mr. Mobley since September.

So I have no idea what to make of this latest report. IU, according to our sources, has moved on.
