  1. Lest we fail to mention that, while several on the IU beat have raised the summer game exponentially, Hutch has resorted to the old off-season stand-by of “Where are they now?” featuring Hornsby, Patterson & Moye on the Hoosier Insider

  2. And when he’s not crafting gems such as that one, he’s busy playing “Where is Terry now,” as he vacations 10 times per year.

However, his decision to post shorter stories, more frequently — sometimes even, gasp…more than once a day — was a stroke of pure genius.

  3. Don’t beat yourself up too much, Hugh.

He’s a veteran of the business. It’s understandable that he’s learned to predict the trends and stay on top of them.

  4. Can anyone shed some light on the Chasson Randle scenario? Despite being a high-ranking point guard and his apparent interest in IU, we hear nearly nothing about him.

  5. On Chasson Randle. Although I don’t know the reason(s), everyone seems to agree that we’re no longer pursuing him.

  6. Hey Hoosier Futbal, just checked out a story on Rivals about Randle. He hasn’t narrowed his list, but apparently said that Purdue, Stanford and Illinois are at the top. Rivals lists him as having low interest in IU even though there’s an offer. Not sure what to make of that, but we haven’t heard his name going around a lot. Thanks.

  7. Extremely dissapointed that IU’s Memorial Stadium’s addition is not included in this years edition of NCAA 2011. Right there that’s a bad sign of things to come this year.

Hope all is well with the Scoop staff.

    Best,

  8. PB,

    Actually — maybe it’s a good sign.

At least it mean’s our football staff isn’t preoccupied with contacting EA Sports to ensure our stadium specs are up-to-date in a virtual world.

That’s one way to look at it.

  9. Casey,

Ha…yeah I guess that is one way to look at it.

Looking forward to the start of the real season for IU football.
