Towson Indiana Football

Trea Burgess runs with the ball against Towson. Chris Howell | Herald-Times

  • Indiana’s running game needs work before the Big Ten season begins, Dustin writes.
  • Not at HoosiersHQ, but you should scroll down and read Dustin’s work from yesterday. Seven blog posts in a day is beastly.

  1. I do not condone sexual harassment in any form, but I still love Isiah Thomas (yes, he did it and the Nicks paid for it). He just sparkles. He was a great IU basketball player. My information is that if Isiah had not purchased the CBA when he did, then it was going to fold right then. So to keep it alive for two more years was no failure. Other than Jerry West (retired but still the reason the Lakers excel)and Pat Riley, name two really good guys running the operations for any NBA team. The Nicks under Isiah were no better and no worse than the Nicks under Donnie Walsh. Isiah was no worse than Larry Bird at building a championship team. To say he is flawed is correct-as are ALL of us! To call him a phony and a fraud by a guy who has never tried or achieved ANYTHING significant is a cheap shot!

  2. I completely agree BeatPurdue. To take a shot at his character based on a bad mistake and several rumors is bad journalism. My mother is a nurse took care of his daughter in the picu about 5 years ago and she said he was very gracious and a down to earth man.
