Indiana-Ohio State game set for noon

From Indiana Sports Info:

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana’s game at No. 2 Ohio State on Saturday, Oct. 9, will be televised on ESPN or ESPN2 and will kick off at noon EDT, the conference announced Monday. The final determination on which network will carry the contest will be made following this weekend’s games.

The Hoosiers (3-0) and Buckeyes (4-0) will do battle in Columbus at Ohio Stadium. All games can also be heard on the statewide IU Radio Network (Don Fischer, Buck Suhr and Joe Smith) and on Sirius/XM Satellite Radio.

Game times are predicated on the Big Ten Conference television agreement with ABC, the Big Ten Network, ESPN and ESPN2 and are often not announced until 12 days before kickoff.

Entering the 111th season of Big Ten football with a perfect 3-0 mark, the Indiana football team opens conference play this weekend against No. 20/19 Michigan (4-0) for the second straight year. The Hoosiers and Wolverines will meet at Memorial Stadium (52,929) on Saturday, Oct. 2. Kickoff is at 3:30 p.m. EDT and the game will be televised on ESPNU.

IU is looking for its sixth 4-0 start in school history and its first since 1990. Indiana is also looking for its first victory over Michigan since 1987 and its first conference-opening win since 2001 (at Wisconsin).
